The workshop

Each pair is cut, lasted, and stitched by hand. No conveyor rhythm — only the pace of skilled hands that have done this thousands of times.

Peshawar’s climate cures leather evenly; that is why chappal from this city has a reputation that travelled before the internet did.

How a pair is born

01

Selecting hide

Buffalo and cowhide graded for thickness, grain, and tannage.

02

Cutting & skiving

Straps and vamps cut by eye — templates are only a guide.

03

Lasting

Upper pulled over the last; shape is set by tension and experience.

04

Sole & stitch

Leather sole layered, stitched, and edged by hand tools.

05

Finish

Burnish, wax, and final QC before packing.

Values we keep

  • — No synthetic uppers marketed as leather.
  • — Fair rates to artisans; slower production, honest price.
  • — COD nationwide so trust goes both ways.

The people behind the work

Pairs are finished by a small network of craftspeople in Peshawar — each focused on cutting, lasting, stitching, or finishing. When you are ready to highlight named makers on this page, replace this block with real bios and portraits.

Visit Peshawar when you can.

Until then, we ship the same workshop quality to your door.
